Degrees Pro Weather App Reviews

App is totally broken and won’t fetch weather details. Don’t buy it. Degrees Pro won’t detect my location, nor will it allow me to manually set my location. Just shows me “—“ where the temperature should be :(

can’t find any large world city such as New York

This app orginally worked fine, but now the location will not update, and I can not set a manual location. When i tried using the submit feedback function, I got an error re: connection to the server gateway. It appear that there is some networking issue with the app not being able to access whatever resources it is polling for location information. Pretty much every review on here cites this. Nice app when it worked but it doesn’t.

Auto location detection doesn’t work nor does putting in a location. I tried even the largest North American cities and nothing. It also doesn’t auto start at boot up when set to do so. As is, completelly useless.

I’m resident of Istanbul / Turkey. At beginning istanbul can appear on app.But at this time it’s gone, And also I cant use this Adana / TUR, Hatay / TUR and Ankara/TUR (This is the capital city)

Doesnt show any weather. No automatic location. No manual location. No sense. Crap. Money back please.

Does not work at all

El Capitan (10.11.4) - app DOES NOT work properly. Doesn’t refresh temperature, does no automatic location, it’s impossible to enter location manually, it frequently closes off without reason. I’d sent feedback two times - no action, no answer. I know, that 2,99 euro is not much, but still too much for an app that just doesn’t work.

App doesnt work at all! You cant change the location and it doesnt discover it automatically. Money wasted.

Actually, it works for a little while then crashes. Always. Don’t waste your time or money. Oh, Feedback doesn’t work either!

Running a current iMac with OS 10.11.4, the app never opens with reboots of the system, even though it’s supposed to. Other times, it just quits at some point, leaving a blank spot where a weather forecast should be. Deleted.

App doesn’t work AT ALL. Do not buy this app. Look at the ratings. BEWARE. Apple should pull this from the App Store.

App worked for about a year but has since stopped working for everyone. The developer is unresponsive and they continue to take people’s money. It can’t connect to whatever server it needs and can’t identify locations automatically or manually, rendering it useless. Bad app, no support = misery. Do yourself a favor and stay clear.

Doesn’t work, at all. Wish there was an easy refund policy with the AppStore.

I just purchased this app after finding the free one did not work either. If it would work I might like it. If it doesn’t I will request a refund. I do not know how they could put an app out there that is broken. Fix it please?

This application should be either fixed or taken down because it does not work.

This app is just stuck reporting the temperature as “—“. It doesn’t work. I hope to get a refund.

Does not perform any of its intended functions, do not buy it.

The free version stopped updating my location this summer, and I just purchased the Pro version thinking it would solve this, but I should have read the reviews first. The Pro version does not show any weather data whatsoever! At least the free version showed me the weather in the last city I lived in. This product looks great and in theory would be ideal, but it just doesn’t work and it should be removed from the App Store, as the developer clearly does not keep up with the product or customer service anymore. I tried submitting feedback to the developer using the built in feedback feature on Degrees Pro, and the feedback message can’t send because there’s no associated server. Everyone should request their money back from Apple!
