Degrees Pro Weather App Reviews

As many others have mentioned, this app worked great on earlier versions of Mac OS X, and then completely stopped working on El Capitan (10.11). I contacted the authors support some weeks ago but haven’t received so much as an acknowledgement. While $2.99 isn’t much to spend on an app, I would have at least expected it to work.

Didn’t cost much, but dissapointed that it did not work, but most of all, the feedback box does not work so there’s no way to gripe to the developer. I wanted to ask for help or get a refund, but I guess once they have your money, there’s nothing you can do. I’ll never make that mistake again! Its too bad, it seemed like it would be a nice little app to have. Shame on you!

Was a great little app. But it has not been working for the past couple of months. Don’t purchase this until they fix it (if they fix it).

Read the rest of the reviews here. For some reason the free version works, but the Pro version does not. It is not able to find or search my location, so you only see dashes on your menu. Customer support non-existent. This app should be removed from the app store since all it does is take your money.

Wasted 3 dollars on this Pro Version. Neither works. No temperature information retrieved after one hour. Cannot find where to obtain a refund.

Do not buy this app as its completely faulty. Didnt work at all. Total waste of money and Apple doesnt let you receive a refund on digital download products.

This pro app doesn’t work I should have read reviews first I usually do. Unless they are fixing it everyone who bought it should get a refund.

Do yourself a favor and don’t give any money to this app developer. App constantly breaks, and no support or feedback on the situation.

Save your money.

Running on a new i7 MacBook Air 11” with El Capitan, it crashes constantly. Although it is set to open on startup, it does not. The setting to automatically determine location also doesn’t work. I know it only cost $2.99, but I wish I could get a refund, simply because I feel like a sucker for paying for something that doesn’t work.

I installed El Capitan and it still worked, and then suddenly it stopped working. Would love an update to fix this.

Nothing helps. Just refuses to show wanything except degree sign.

I bought the upgrade from the app store and it worked fine for a while. It is now not working and I am not pleased and extremely disappointed.

Worked tolerably for a month or two, but now it’s no longer updated. The weather shows 91 degrees and rainy all the time. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and it’s the same thing.

I’ve used this app for about a month now. It consistently never detects my location, though other applications do just fine. All day today, it hasn’t been able to tell me what the temperature outside is, and now that it has a temperature, it says it’s 100 degrees and breezy. I live in Chicago right now— it’s 42 degrees and snowing.

Apparently, it’s 169 degrees in Charlotte, NC x_x Jokes aside, this app was pretty great. Just not sure why it’s reporting insanely wrong temps now.

Firstly this app has trouble automatically finding my location, I have to enter in manually. Today 3/24/2016 it’s snowing outside and it’s about 30 degrees, the app tells me it’s 88, the rest of the week gets much hotter according to it, 120 and 140 by mid next week. I put up with the apps annoyances for about a year, but today’s temperature debacle put me off to it permanently. I’ll stick with going to a website to look at the weather, it takes a little more time, but at least that is never wrong., well, within 2-3 degrees, not 50-150 off.

Purchased “Pro” version. Does nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Will not show temp. STUPID. Hate it! Don’t waste your $3 on it.

This was a great app, but no more. Currently the app shows my towns temperature to be 93F, this is in the midwest in spring when the actual temp is near freezing at night. Fix this app asap.
